South Central Athlete has been a part of the Austin community for over 40 years! We specialize in running shoes; the fitting process is unique to each customer to ensure you are in the right shoe. We are proud to carry top brands such as Brooks and Saucony.
We also have boutique-style women’s clothing that is trendy, unique, and affordable. If you’re into the comfy “athleisure” style, you’ll love the Mono B brand.
Howler Brothers is our favorite men’s clothing line. They have super cool button-downs, jackets, vests, and other fun shirts. We’re one of the only Howler dealers in the state!
When you come visit, you will also find a curated collection of casual shoes for both men & women. Our latest and greatest addition is a Portuguese shoe. The Asportuguesas are a sustainable slip-on featuring a cork/rubber sole with a comfy wool upper.
